Always respect your bridge partner
Always respect your bridge partner

Many people want to learn how to play bridge but are put off because they need to join a bridge club in order to learn. Clubs can be intimidating and seasoned players can put the fear of God into a novice. You may have to sign up for a course that will mean a commitment on your time over a long period (often eight weeks) or they will offer a weekend crash course, which may leave you bewildered by its intensity and pace.

More than likely you are a busy person and want to learn how to play bridge at a time and place that suits you.

Kitchenbridge is your personal bridge tutor. I come to you and teach.

I offer a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced. There is a refresher course for the rusty or there are individual lessons on bridge conventions.

You can learn on your own, with a partner or with a group of friends.

Personal Tuition

Whether in your home or a venue of your choosing, I come to you and teach you how to play or improve your bridge. My series of practical courses are designed to make bridge accessible, easy to understand and will over a short period of time, introduce you step by step, to the key elements of the game. You learn at your own pace with plenty of opportunity to practice as you progress.

Your knowledge of the game is built up layer by layer until sooner than you think; you are playing bridge with both confidence and more importantly enthusiasm.

Flexible

All lessons take your needs into account. If you are stuck on a particular point of the game, then the lesson is adjusted to take that into account. Kitchenbridge is your personal tutor and you call the shots.

"I have been playing Bridge chaotically for over thirty years, and then Barry came along. Barry has been able to give me an understanding of the bigger picture of Bridge and my play in particular"

Julia Williams

"I had been playing Bridge for many years, then I met Barry and I realised that I had only scratched the surface. He has taken my game to a whole new level"

Paula Coppack
