Bridge is both a social game and a competitive sport. Kitchenbridge is all about the social game. For anyone wanting to learn the game, it can be difficult. You must either teach yourself or join a bridge club and commit to a lengthy teaching schedule at a set time for weeks on end. This can be difficult for busy people, and as is often the case, the class may be too large for you to get the individual attention you need. For me, the most rewarding aspect of the game is the social scene it offers. I have made many new friends through bridge and I spend many evenings each month with friends playing a game that is both competitive and fun, all helped along by wine and good food.
Whatever course you choose, the emphasis is on fun and informal learning.
